MESQUITE, Texas — The Mesquite Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that left an 18-year-old man dead Saturday night.
Officers were called to the 1500 block of Creek Valley around 9:47 p.m. on October 4, 2025, after reports of gunfire in the area. When they arrived, police found Keamodrick Cloud, 18, who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators have not released details about what led to the shooting or whether any suspects have been identified. Police say the investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
