Bell County Sheriff's Office Investigating Suspicious Death of Missing Killeen Man

BELL COUNTY, Texas – The Bell County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the suspicious death of 38-year-old Henry Luis Suarez-Perez, who was reported missing by the Killeen Police Department on October 24, 2025.

On Monday, October 27, 2025, investigators searching the area around White Flint Park and Winkler Park, off Texas Highway 36 west of Temple, located a deceased individual in a creek bed. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office later identified the victim as Suarez-Perez.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies had responded multiple times earlier in the month to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked near White Flint Park Road. The vehicle, linked to Suarez-Perez, was eventually impounded on October 22 after several checks revealed no one nearby.

Justice of the Peace Cliff Coleman has ordered an autopsy, which will be conducted at the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation is being led by the Bell County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division, with assistance from the Texas Rangers, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Highway Patrol, TDCJ K-9 Unit, and the Army Criminal Investigation Division’s Central Texas Field Office, as Suarez-Perez was a military dependent.

Authorities believe Suarez-Perez had been in the area since October 6, 2025, and are asking anyone with information about his activities or death to contact the Bell County Sheriff’s Office CID at 254-933-5442 or Bell County Crime Stoppers at 254-526-8477 (TIPS).

Photos of Suarez-Perez and the vehicle he was driving have been released to assist with the investigation.
