Fort Worth, Texas - A Tarrant County jury has sentenced 67-year-old Joe Luis Saucedo to 45 years in prison after finding him guilty of indecency with a child.
The incident occurred on November 15, 2021, when a 16-year-old girl awoke to find Saucedo touching her inappropriately. She immediately chased him out of the house with a broom and called 911. Fort Worth Police responded, and following their investigation, Saucedo was located and arrested.
During the trial, jurors also learned that Saucedo had a prior felony conviction for DWI.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Jeanne Truglio and Mary Martin, with support from DA Investigator Briant Thomas and Victim Coordinator Clara Salvatierra.
