FORT WORTH, Texas - A 43-year-old man with a history of bank robbery was arrested Thursday morning after attempting to rob the same Fort Worth bank he successfully targeted nearly a decade ago.
On November 20, 2025, around 10:00 a.m., Fort Worth Police officers responded to a robbery attempt at a local bank in the 8800 block of Camp Bowie West Blvd.
The suspect, identified as Christopher McKay, 43, a convicted bank robber, claimed to be armed with a handgun and demanded money. However, McKay was unsuccessful and fled the scene on foot.
Officers searched the area and quickly located and arrested McKay. He was booked for Aggravated Robbery along with outstanding local warrants.
A note on the suspect's history: Nine years prior to this incident, McKay robbed the identical bank location, was caught, and subsequently served seven years in Federal prison.
