Through every class, leadership role and challenge, I learned resilience, confidence and discipline. Irving ISD gave me a community that supported me, encouraged me to dream bigger and helped me believe that opportunities like QuestBridge were possible for someone like me” – Lara Nazar Sada Shattawi

“I was inspired to apply to Questbridge from all the other brilliant Irving  ISD students that encouraged me to. It is a great opportunity for the chance for a better future, but even if the college match doesn’t work out, the accomplishment itself is something to be grateful for” – Marsiha Khan

“Irving ISD has prepared me by allowing me to take rigorous coursework while layering in diverse, meaningful extracurriculars that have built an enriched, overlapping base of knowledge. The community in Irving ISD, especially the passionate teachers at Nimitz High School, has a deep commitment to students’ success and often creates unique pockets of excellence across campus” – Alan Tavares
