On Sunday night, December 7, 2025, just before 11:00 p.m., the North Texas Emergency Communications Center received reports of a structure fire at a manufactured home in Coppell. Fire crews from Engine 121 arrived to the given address and initially found nothing showing. Battalion 121 quickly reconnoitered the area and located the correct home nearby with active fire and smoke.
Firefighters acted swiftly, containing the blaze to the room of origin and preventing significant spread through the structure. A rapid search confirmed all occupants were safely outside the home.
The Red Cross was contacted to assist the affected family in the aftermath of the fire. Coppell Fire Department credited the successful containment and rescue to the coordinated efforts of CFD personnel and mutual-aid partners from the Farmers Branch, Irving, and Lewisville Fire Departments.
Authorities praised the crews’ quick response and training, noting their dedication was critical in keeping the family safe during this tragic event.
