IRVING, TX - The Irving Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing teenager, as an Endangered Missing Person Alert is being activated through the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Cameron Matar, 15, was last seen on Friday, January 2, at approximately 4:00 p.m. He was captured on surveillance cameras near the intersection of Lake Carolyn and O’Connor Road, walking southbound on O’Connor Road.
Cameron is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a blue jacket, possibly a black shirt, and red basketball shorts. Police say Cameron has been diagnosed with high-functioning autism, which raises concern for his safety.
The case is being investigated under case number 26-99. Anyone with information about Cameron’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Irving Police Department at 972-273-1010 or call 911 immediately.
