Officials said a decision regarding Tuesday, Jan. 27, will be announced once conditions are assessed. The district is reviewing how the missed day will be made up, potentially through a designated bad weather day or by using instructional minutes already built into the academic calendar.
Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District confirmed it will be closed Monday as well because of inclement weather.
Dallas College announced all of its campuses will be closed Monday, citing safety concerns related to winter conditions. College officials advised students to check eCampus and email accounts regularly for updates from instructors.
