DALLAS, TX - A 24-year-old woman was killed and a 21-year-old man injured in a shooting Tuesday night in Oak Cliff, Dallas police said.
Officers responded at approximately 7:46 p.m. February 10, 2026, to a shooting call in the 2200 block of South Zang Boulevard near West Illinois Avenue. Preliminary investigation determined that two people had been shot as their vehicle drove away from the location.
Kayli Lopez, 24, was found unresponsive. A 21-year-old male also sustained a gunshot wound.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported both victims to a local hospital, where Lopez was pronounced dead. The male victim’s condition has not been released.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 019453-2026.
