GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — Two men are dead and two suspects are facing capital murder charges following a shooting Wednesday afternoon in Grand Prairie.
According to the Grand Prairie Police Department, officers responded around 2:30 p.m. on February 25, 2026, to reports of a shooting in the 2400 block of South Carrier Parkway.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male in a parking lot suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported by emergency medical personnel to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators said a second adult male who had also been shot fled the scene before being located at another nearby location. He was transported to a hospital by medics but later died from his injuries.
Detectives determined the two men were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated into an exchange of gunfire.
During the incident, police say a third individual, described as an acquaintance of one of the men, retrieved a firearm and fired at one of the victims. That suspect then fled the area along with an additional accomplice.
Through the investigation, detectives later located both suspects and took them into custody without incident.
Cameron Mills, 18, and Jeremiah Anderson, 18, have each been charged with Capital Murder in connection with the shooting.
The identities of the two deceased individuals have not yet been released. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the victims after next of kin notifications are completed.
