DFW Airport Earns Customer Experience Award for Fourth Straight Year

DFW AIRPORT, Texas — Dallas Fort Worth International Airport has once again been recognized among the world’s best airports for customer satisfaction, earning a major international award for the fourth consecutive year.

According to Airports Council International (ACI) World, DFW Airport received the 2025 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Customer Experience Award, continuing a winning streak that began in 2022. The honor places DFW among top-performing large airports serving more than 40 million passengers annually.

The ASQ Award is considered the global benchmark for airport customer experience and is based entirely on independent passenger survey responses.

“Receiving this award for the fourth year in a row is especially meaningful as it coincides with the largest construction program in our airport’s history,” said Ken Buchanan, DFW’s Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer. “Even as we modernize and expand, our commitment to delivering an exceptional experience never wavers. This recognition shows that our customers feel that dedication.”

Launched in 2006, the ASQ program evaluates airports using more than 50 performance indicators tied to the passenger journey, including:

  • Ease of navigation and wayfinding

  • Cleanliness and comfort

  • Check-in efficiency

  • Airport ambience

  • Shopping and dining options

In 2025 alone, nearly 707,000 surveys were completed worldwide. More than half of all global air travelers passed through airports participating in the ASQ program, highlighting its broad international reach and credibility.

Airport officials say the recognition reflects continued efforts to maintain high service standards while DFW undergoes major modernization and expansion projects designed to accommodate future growth.
