Woman Owner of Massage Parlors in Bedford Sentenced to 25 Years for Human Trafficking Operation

Fujun Zhu (defendant)

FORT WORTH, Texas — A Tarrant County jury has found an Arlington woman guilty of continuous trafficking of persons, sentencing her to 25 years in prison.

47-year-old Fujun Zhu was convicted Monday, March 30, 2026, in the 213th District Court following an investigation into alleged trafficking and prostitution activities tied to multiple massage businesses.

The case began in 2023 when the Bedford Police Department launched an investigation into Zhu’s operations. Investigators determined that prostitution was being conducted inside her businesses and that women were being forcefully locked inside the establishments overnight. Between 2023 and 2024, police shut down three of Zhu’s businesses, including Top Massage Inn on Airport Freeway and Lux Relax Spa on Harwood Road.

According to investigators, a victim reported in 2024 that she agreed to work at one of Zhu’s massage parlors but was taken to an apartment in the 2600 block of Durange Ridge Drive in Bedford. There, Zhu confiscated the victim’s passport and identification and told her she would be required to perform sexual services to earn money.

Prosecutors Danielle Bonanno and Mollie Mallin handled the case.

A co-defendant, 47-year-old Henry Lewis Doria, was arrested in June 2024 as part of the same investigation. His case remains pending, and he is currently out on bond.

Online records show that Zhu and Doria jointly own a residence in Arlington and previously lived in Bedford and Euless. The pair have been operating under Experience Life Rejuvenation LLC, a business registered with the Texas Secretary of State in September 2020 and that is still active.
