IRVING, Texas — A gas leak Tuesday afternoon has led to a road closure in Irving, with officials urging residents and drivers to steer clear of the area.
Irving Police reported April 7th that Carl Road is closed between the south service road of SH-183 and East Grauwyler Road due to the leak.
Atmos Energy crews are currently on scene working to address the issue.
Authorities have not provided an estimated time for when the roadway will reopen.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
