Contour Airlines Expands Summer Schedule With New Routes, Including Daily Service to DFW

DALLAS — Contour Airlines is expanding its Northern Summer 2026 schedule with new and returning routes across the United States, including recently launched service between Dallas–Fort Worth and El Dorado, Arkansas.

The regional carrier began flights between South Arkansas Regional Airport in El Dorado and DFW Airport on March 16, 2026, offering up to 25 weekly flights using CRJ200 aircraft. The route provides nonstop service aimed at improving access between smaller communities and major travel hubs.

Contour officials said the El Dorado route is operated on a 30-seat regional jet and includes added passenger amenities such as extra legroom, complimentary snacks and beverages, and one free checked bag.

“This new service highlights Contour’s commitment to connecting underserved communities with major markets,” said Ben Munson, president of Contour Airlines. “By launching nonstop flights from South Arkansas Regional Airport to Dallas–Fort Worth, we’re giving travelers a convenient, reliable option while maintaining the high level of comfort and service our customers expect.”

Flights from El Dorado to Dallas–Fort Worth depart daily at 7:40 a.m. and 4:45 p.m., with additional service at 12:25 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Return flights from Dallas–Fort Worth to El Dorado depart at 2:55 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. daily, with an added 10:40 a.m. departure on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

As part of its summer expansion, Contour will also introduce a seasonal route between Myrtle Beach and Beckley operating twice weekly from June 3 through August 12 using an ERJ135 aircraft. Service between Nashville and Fort Leonard Wood will return from June 1 through September 30 with five weekly CRJ200 flights, restoring a route last served in September 2024.

The expanded schedule builds on previously announced routes, including Albuquerque to Carlsbad, Denver to Carlsbad, Cape Girardeau to Pensacola, and Las Vegas to Page.

Airline officials said the additions are intended to improve regional connectivity and restore service between smaller cities during the busy summer travel season.
