FORT WORTH, TX — A 26-year-old Arlington man will spend the next six decades in state prison without the possibility of release following a conviction for the repeated sexual abuse of a child. Michael Andrew Walls pled guilty in a Tarrant County courtroom to Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child Under 14, a first-degree felony.
The court handed down a 60-year sentence with a strict "day-for-day" requirement, meaning Walls is not eligible for parole and must serve the entirety of the term.
Disclosure and Investigation
The case against Walls began in June 2025, when a young girl came forward to the Arlington Police Department. She provided a detailed account of a pattern of abuse that began when she was 13 years old.
Walls was apprehended on June 12, 2025, and has remained in custody at the Tarrant County Jail since his arrest. Investigators noted that at the time of the sexual abuse, Walls was already on active parole for a prior Robbery conviction.
