DALLAS — A federal jury has convicted a Dallas man identified as a member of the Four Deuce Oakland Crips on multiple drug trafficking and firearms charges following a four-day trial, federal officials said.
Jamarian Augustus Hewitt, also known as “Zillionaire JJ,” was found guilty April 9, 2026, of trafficking cocaine and methamphetamine, conspiracy to distribute multiple controlled substances, two counts of possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, use of a cellphone to facilitate a drug offense, and illegal firearm possession by a convicted felon.
Prosecutors said the case stems from “Operation Blue Laces,” an investigation launched in January 2024 by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to target criminal activity along the Malcolm X Boulevard corridor in South Dallas. Authorities said the operation was initiated after residents reported gang-related activity that created fear in the neighborhood.
Operation Targeted Drug Network in South Dallas
According to court records, investigators found that gang members were using storefronts and residences in the area to distribute drugs, including cocaine, methamphetamine, PCP, marijuana, codeine, and prescription drugs.
Hewitt operated a business known as Zillionaire Exotic Pop on South Malcolm X Boulevard, where authorities said he sold large quantities of drugs, including methamphetamine, cocaine, and hundreds of pounds of marijuana weekly. Investigators also said he sold codeine mixed with soda, commonly referred to as “purple drank.”
Evidence presented at trial included social media posts linked to Hewitt, in which he referred to himself as a “drug lord” and promoted drug sales and gang activity.
During a search of Hewitt’s business, agents recovered methamphetamine pills, marijuana packaged for distribution, and multiple firearms. Additional searches at other locations tied to the investigation uncovered more drugs, over two dozen firearms, and other evidence.
Officials Emphasize Community Impact
“The residents living and working in the Malcolm X Boulevard neighborhood had been living in fear due to the havoc wreaked by the Four Deuce Oakland Crip gang members’ criminal activities,” said U.S. Attorney Ryan Raybould. “With this verdict, Hewitt has been held accountable and faces a potential lifetime sentence.”
Special Agent in Charge Brian Garner of ATF Dallas said the case reflects coordinated enforcement efforts. “Today’s verdict sends a clear and unequivocal message: those who choose to flood our neighborhoods with drugs and arm violent criminal enterprises will be held accountable,” Garner said.
Sentencing Scheduled
Hewitt is scheduled to be sentenced August 12, 2026, before U.S. District Judge Brantley Starr. He faces a minimum of 20 years to life in federal prison, along with a possible $10 million fine.
The investigation was conducted by the ATF Dallas Field Division and the Dallas Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Rick Calvert and Ashley Koos.
