LEWISVILLE, Texas — Three individuals have been arrested after a late-night response to gunfire in a motorhome park led to the recovery of firearms and drugs, according to the Lewisville Police Department.
Earlier in the week, officers received a report of unlawful firearm discharge in the area and increased patrols as a precaution.
Late Thursday night, officers responded again after gunfire was reported. Witnesses provided a description of a vehicle leaving the scene, and officers quickly located it.
Police said one of the suspects attempted to flee on foot after the vehicle stopped, but officers pursued and apprehended him. All three occupants were taken into custody.
During a search of the vehicle, officers recovered multiple firearms and illegal drugs.
Authorities identified the suspects as 17-year-old Gavin Pintur Dollar, 18-year-old Devin John Deleon and 18-year-old Manuel Quirino.
All three were charged with discharge of a firearm. Additional charges include evading arrest on foot for Dollar, unlawful carrying of a weapon for Deleon and possession of a controlled substance for Quirino.
Police said the arrests highlight proactive patrol efforts and coordination among officers.
The investigation remains ongoing.
