CARROLLTON, Texas — A second suspect has been arrested in connection with two deadly shootings that occurred earlier this month in Carrollton, according to the Carrollton Police Department.
Police said officers and firefighters responded around 9:57 a.m. on May 5, 2026, to the 4000 block of State Highway 121 following reports of a shooting involving multiple victims.
When officers arrived, they found four adults suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Authorities said one man was pronounced dead at the scene, while two other men and one woman were transported to local hospitals in stable condition.
During the investigation, officers learned of a second shooting reported around 11:13 a.m. in the 2700 block of Old Denton Road.
Responding officers located another deceased adult male inside an apartment, investigators said.
Police later determined both shootings were connected and allegedly carried out by the same suspect, identified as 69-year-old Seung Ho Han.
Authorities said Han was arrested around 12:12 p.m. the same day in the 2600 block of Old Denton Road.
As detectives continued reviewing digital evidence and conducting follow-up interviews, investigators determined Han’s wife, 67-year-old Ae Son Han, was allegedly present during the crimes and assisted in the commission of the second homicide.
On May 18, 2026, with assistance from the United States Marshals Service, Ae Son Han was located in Minnesota and arrested on a murder charge.
The Carrollton Police Department said it is currently working to extradite her back to Texas.
