One Dead, One Injured in Pleasant Grove Shooting, Dallas Police Say

DALLAS — One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Tuesday evening in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas, according to police.

Officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 7:50 p.m. on June 9 in the 2000 block of North Masters Drive.

Preliminary information from the Dallas Police Department indicates that three unidentified suspects were seen firing shots at the location, striking two men and several vehicles.

The suspects fled the area before officers arrived.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene. A second victim was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue to a local hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities have not released the identities of either victim. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's Office will assist in identifying the deceased victim.

Dallas Police detectives continue to investigate the shooting. The case is documented under case number 083361-2026.
