The 2009 theme for the Design-A-Bookmark Contest is "Picture America". The contest is open to all ages so demonstrate your artistic talent by sumitting an entry. This is also a great opportunity for parents and children to work together in putting together a great bookmark.
Official entry forms are available at all Irving Public Library locations, including the Bookmobile, and at all City of Irving recreation centers. All mailed entries must be postmarked no later than 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, and all hand-delivered entries must be submitted during regular facility hours no later than 6 p.m. on April 30.
