Richardson ISD Teacher Arrested on Online Solicitation of a Minor Charge

RICHARDSON, Texas - A Richardson ISD high school teacher was arrested Friday after police investigating a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children obtained a warrant charging him with online solicitation of a minor.

Richardson Police Department detectives arrested 41-year-old Michael Ralph Fouse on August 28, 2026, on a charge of Online Solicitation of a Minor, a third-degree felony.

Police identified Fouse as a science teacher at Berkner High School in the Richardson Independent School District.

Detectives executed both an arrest warrant and a search warrant Friday at Fouse's residence in Richardson. He was taken into custody without incident.

According to Richardson Police, the investigation began August 20 after detectives received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, commonly known as NCMEC.

Detectives said they are working closely with Richardson ISD to gather additional information as the investigation continues.

The charge against Fouse is an allegation, and he is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

The investigation remains ongoing.
