Located in the lower level of the NLC Library, the 10,000-square-foot facility features six state-of-the-art classrooms, two computer labs, and a multi-purpose conference room. The center also houses offices and registration services for Continuing Education.
"This beautiful center will be the hub of activity on the central campus to provide non-credit instruction and corporate and contract training,” said Paul Kelemen, NLC Vice-President for Community & Economic Development. “North Lake is dedicated to cultivating partnerships with individuals, businesses, and other organizations to build and sustain a strong competitive workforce as part of a vibrant local economy.”
Workforce education programs offered at NLC include both credit and non-credit career-focused courses designed to train, re-train, or enhance workplace skills as well as customized contract training services to help local businesses train their employees. Continuing Education courses are offered in a variety of subject areas for community members of all ages including youth and senior adults.
