Advanced Plan for Health, headquartered in Irving, Names Directors

Advanced Plan for Health announced that it has promoted the following professionals to Managing Directors.  Chris Andrews as Managing Director-Information Systems and Data Management; Matt Cheatham as Managing Consultant for Information Systems and Data Management; Taylor Godbey as Managing Director-Client Services; Jason Kemmer as Managing Director-Operations and Joy McGee-Cory as Managing Director-Consulting Services.

Advanced Plan for Health helps hospitals, corporations and other organizations manage the health of more than 270,000 employees and dependants through a fully integrated, Web-based system that combines health information analysis with the knowledge and training to design and implement initiatives that control the variability of health care costs.

Jason Kemmer, managing director-operations, specialty focus is wellness and disease management product strategy, development and implementation with an emphasis on product development, sales and marketing. Mr. Kemmer also has strong expertise in operational and process re-design models. Previously, he developed and implemented the wellness product strategy for one of the largest national payers, developed medical management offerings for large, not-for-profit insurer and HMO companies, leading several teams in design, development, and implementation of the care management.  Mr. Kemmer previously worked for a global management consulting, technology, and outsourcing company. Mr. Kemmer received his undergraduate degree from Texas Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Texas Christian University.

Taylor Godbey, managing director-client services, has a strong background in sales and operations. His healthcare industry experience includes B-to-B consulting for hospitals and healthcare systems on a national scale. Prior to joining Advanced Plan for Health, Mr. Godbey  worked for a variety of national companies with responsibilities ranging from providing a customized ,one-of-a-kind healthcare plan for self insured organizations to creating database matrices to be used during contract negotiations and analysis of contracts for implementation. Mr. Godbey received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University.

Chris Andrews, managing director-information systems and data management,has more than 11 years of experience in a variety of information-technology related services including data mining, data warehouse implementation and design, network architecture design, risk and compliance audits and project management.   He is a certified Information Systems Security Professional and Information Systems Auditor, among others.  Mr. Andrews received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University.

Matt Cheatham, managing consultant for information systems and data management, has more than six years of experience in information technology, data mining and analysis.  Previously, Mr. Cheatham worked as a data analyst for a mortgage company with over 400,000 loans and as an associate for a public accounting firm with clients in several industries including financial services, health systems, oil and gas, and not-for-profit organizations.  Mr. Cheatham received a B.S. in Mathematics and Minor in Computer Science from Trinity University-San Antonio.

Joy McGee-Cory, managing consultant, advises health systems, managed care organizations, and physician groups on managed care operations, provider compensation and contracting, regulatory compliance and accreditation issues. Ms. McGee-Coy has strong experience in analysis, planning, proposal development and management of health programs. She assisted firms with development of Texas-specific operating policies, conducted RFP development and analysis for provider networks and utilization services, and assisted organizations in application for survey by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Ms. McGee-Cory holds an M.B.A. from the University of Arkansas and is a Certified Physician Management Executive and a Certified Purchasing Manager.
