City of Irving: There are currently no cases of Swine flu in Irving

Test results have confirmed that there are currently no cases of Swine flu in Irving. Precautions are being taken to ensure the highest level of public safety for residents and visitors. The city remains in close communication with local, state and federal agencies to monitor the effects of Swine flu in North Texas.

Residents are being advised to use precautionary measures such as washing hands regularly, and covering nose and mouth when they cough and/or sneeze. The city will provide pertinent updates to the community as more information becomes available.

Those exhibiting flu-like symptoms are advised to seek the advice of a medical professional. Calls to 911 should be reserved for emergencies.
