The Irving Art Association and the Irving Arts Center present the annual Texas & Neighbors Regional Art Exhibition. The juried competition features artwork in a variety of mediums from artists in five states: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana. This project supported by a grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts. Reception & Awards Ceremony is 2-5 p.m. on April 26.

Well-known photographer Mark Oristano delves into the playful and serious sides of some of Dallas’ most legendary and up-and-coming performers and directors. In his exhibition, Oristano captures images of Robyn Baker Flatt and Paul Baker, Coy Covington, Steve Jones, Randel Wright and Denise Lee, among others.

Approximately 25 posters and window cards promoting various productions of musicals by Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein, including those of earlier partnerships with Lorenz Hart and Jerome Kern. Posters featuring the works of Irving Berlin, Leonard Bernstein, George and Ira Gershwin and Frank Loesser are included as well. On loan from the Thomas G. Neumiller Performing Arts Poster and Research Collection at the Lakeview Museum of Arts and Sciences in Peoria, IL.
