The Irving Police Department is involved in an investigation regarding identity theft. The Irving ISD has over 4,000 employees and thus far, 45 employees have been identified in the investigation. The number of victims seems to be going up as the investigation continues.
An advisory message was sent to IISD employees encouraging them to contact credit bureaus to place a fraud alert on their credits.
It is unclear at this time how the identities and/or documents were compromised, but we will keep you updated on the ongoing investigation.
