TxDOT will close eastbound State Highway (SH) 183 main lanes, from Loop 12 to Maryland Drive, as well as the Maryland Drive exit ramp, from 10 p.m., Thursday, July 7, to 5 a.m., Friday, July 8, weather permitting.
All traffic will exit at the southbound Loop 12 ramp. Detour signs will be in place directing motorists.
Plan ahead for extra travel time, and seek alternate routes when possible.
IRVING INTERCHANGE PROJECT
This work is part of the ongoing $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to complete in mid-2023, weather permitting.
