Free Cat Adoptions Extended Through July at Irving Animal Care Campus

Looking for the purrfect summer companion? The Irving Animal Care Campus (IACC), 4140 Valley View Lane, has extended their cat adoption campaign through July 30 for "Cool Cats of Summer Part 2." During the entire month adoption fees for cats one year and older are being waived, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Regular adoption fees at the IACC range from $70 to $100.

Adoptable cats will be:

  • Up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies if the animal is more than four months old.
  • Spayed or neutered.
  • Given a general dewormer and treated for fleas and ticks.
  • Microchipped and registered with 24PetWatch.
  • Tested for FeLV and FIV if the cat is at least six months old.
  • Given a sample bag of Science Diet food.

The IACC is open from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes prior to closing.
