At 12:23pm jail personnel requested paramedics to the jail for an individual having chest pains (Christopher Graves w/m (35) of Irving).
Preliminary information is that Mr. Graves had complained of chest pains and paramedics were called to the jail. Just moments before paramedics entered the jail Mr. Graves collapsed. Paramedics immediately began attempts to resuscitate and transported him to Baylor Hospital (Irving). He was pronounced deceased shortly after 1pm.
At this time the exact cause of his collapse and subsequent death is not known. The investigation is on-going and information or determination of a cause of death is pending the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s ruling.
