In the early hours of September 4, 2023, Bedford B-Shift firefighters responded to a challenging apartment fire in the 1400 block of Sierra Springs, known as The Logan Apartments. The incident saw the fire rapidly spreading to the attic, ultimately reaching the roof ridgeline.
The Bedford Fire Department expressed their gratitude for the assistance provided by Bedford police officers and the Euless Fire Department, as well as other neighboring fire departments that stepped in to handle emergency calls within Bedford city limits during the fire.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries resulting from the blaze. In an effort to support those affected by the incident, the American Red Cross was called upon to aid neighbors who were displaced from their homes.
