Tulsa Welding School in Irving Celebrates Inaugural Graduates from New Electrical Lineworker Program

In a ceremony held on November 30, 2023, the Tulsa Welding School Dallas Metro in Irving celebrated the graduation of the inaugural class of its Electrical Lineworker program. The program, introduced earlier this summer, aimed to address the increasing demand for skilled electrical powerline installers and repairers in Texas.

Fifteen students, who commenced the program in August at the newly established Tulsa Welding School campus in Irving, completed the rigorous training over the past three months. The graduates are now prepared to embark on careers in the field of electrical linework, contributing to the workforce in response to the growing need for professionals in the industry.

About Tulsa Welding School (TWS)

Tulsa Welding School (TWS) was founded in 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma by two welders to meet the demand for skilled tradespeople in the welding industry. Since then, TWS has become a multi-campus institution that trains students in the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for entry-level positions in the skilled trades:

  • Heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R)
