Hit-and-Run Incident on Baze Road in Euless Prompts Aggravated Assault Investigation

On Saturday, December 2, 2023, at approximately 5:45 PM, a hit-and-run incident unfolded on Baze Road, leaving one driver shaken and authorities launching an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon investigation.

The victim, behind the wheel of a silver Honda Civic, fell prey to an aggressive white SUV driver in the 2600 block of Baze Road. The suspect intentionally rammed the victim's vehicle multiple times, possibly utilizing a Precision Immobilization Technique (PIT) on the driver's side. This maneuver forced the victim to collide with another parked vehicle on the roadway.

The suspect, operating what is believed to be an older model white Ford Edge SUV, fled the scene promptly, heading northbound on Baze Road in the direction of West Glade. Law enforcement officials have identified potential damage to the right front headlight and quarter panel of the suspect vehicle.

Euless Police Officers and Investigators have classified the incident as Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
