On Sunday, December 17, 2023, Irving Police Officers responded to a call reporting the discovery of a body in the wooded area at Trinity View Soccer Fields on the East side of Irving, near E. State Hwy 356 (Irving Blvd).
The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Jose Gonzalez by the Dallas County Medical Examiner.
Authorities are treating the case as a homicide, and Irving Police are currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Gonzalez's death.
