In the early hours of Thursday, February 1, 2024, Irving Police Officers discovered a stolen vehicle in the 3200 block of N. Belt Line Rd. Around 2 am, officers attempted to pull over the stolen vehicle, but the driver evaded the stop and sped off.

A pursuit ensued as officers followed the vehicle, which had an unknown number of occupants, into Dallas.  Upon reaching the city limits, Dallas Police Officers and Deputies from the Dallas Sheriff's Office joined the pursuit.

Irving Police pursued the vehicle onto the IH35 and Woodall Rodgers ramp in downtown Dallas. Shortly thereafter, the vehicle went over the side of the ramp and crashed below, near the 429A Continental Avenue exit.

Officers and Dallas Fire personnel responded to the crash site and attempted to aid the occupants of the vehicle involved in the crash.  All four occupants were pronounced deceased at the scene.

Following the collision, a Dallas Sheriff Deputy sustained injuries in the aftermath of the crash. The initial impact caused a light pole to topple, and the deputy subsequently collided with the fallen pole before crashing into a concrete barrier. Emergency responders transported the injured deputy to the hospital.

A portion of dashcam footage has been released.

The investigation is ongoing.

UPDATE: The four deceased suspects have been identified as 21-year-old Sabria Denise Lacey, 21-year-old Anthony Isaiah Lisbon, 22-year-old DeAvion Raejon Aubert and 21-year-old Robert Alexander Gowans Jr.
