Early morning on Tuesday, February 6th, Dallas Police were called to the 9300 block of Skillman Street in the Audelia area in response to reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival at approximately 1:25 a.m., officers discovered 21-year-old Kenneth Jernigan lying on the ground in a parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds. Additionally, a woman was found inside an apartment with a gunshot wound to her arm.
Emergency medical services transported her to a nearby hospital, where she is reported to be in stable condition. Jernigan succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
As of now, there is no available information regarding any suspects involved in the incident.
