Armed Robbery of Brinks Security Truck in Irving: Police Needs Help Identifying Suspect

At approximately 9:45 am on March 1, 2024, an armed individual carried out a robbery at a Brinks Security location, according to reports from the Irving Police Department. The suspect, described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male, emerged from a black Chevy Malibu and brandished a weapon, holding a Brinks Security Guard at gunpoint.

Eyewitnesses stated that the suspect proceeded to disrobe the security guard from the waist down, preventing any immediate retaliation, before absconding with a substantial amount of money.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect's identity or whereabouts to come forward. The Irving Police Department can be contacted at the non-emergency number 972-273-1010. The case has been assigned case number 24-4711.
