In the early hours of March 2, 2024, Dallas Police responded to a call for service in the 3500 block of Southern Oaks Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of 38-year-old Victor Taylor at the scene.
Initially treated as an unexplained death, the case took a drastic turn when the Medical Examiner’s Office contacted Dallas Police later that day, revealing that Taylor had succumbed to gunshot wounds.
With this new information, authorities swiftly reclassified the case as a homicide. The investigation, spearheaded by Detective Guy Curtis, remains ongoing and has been documented under case number 034895-2024.
