Unscheduled maintenance work scheduled for Saturday, March 9, at the Richard D. Huffman Community Building located at 801 W. Irving Blvd. has led to the cancellation of the free Tax Preparation Workshop.
As a result of this cancellation, the Irving Archives and Museum will remain open for regular business hours.
The Tax Preparation Workshops will resume on Saturday, March 16.
For those seeking alternatives, Nimitz High School at 100 W. Oakdale Road is accepting tax preparation walk-ins on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. These services are provided by the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA). For further inquiries, please contact (972) 600-5700.
