In the early hours of March 2, 2024, Dallas Police were summoned to 3800 Cardinal Drive in Cedar Crest in response to a report of a man who had been stabbed. Upon arrival at approximately 12:10 a.m., officers discovered 41-year-old Harold Gregory Dillard Jr. lying on the ground. Despite efforts by Dallas Fire Rescue, Dillard succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The incident is being treated as a homicide, and authorities have launched an investigation under case number 034853-2024.
