On March 22, 2024, around 9:20 P.M., Dallas Police responded to a shooting incident in the 3800 block of Dixon Avenue in South Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Camren Stacy lying on the ground outside a vehicle, and 18-year-old Kamari Smith-Capps in the driver’s seat. Both individuals had sustained gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to preliminary investigations, the victims were shot while inside the vehicle parked in the lot. The suspects fled the scene, heading south on Dixon Avenue.
As of now, there is no description available for the suspects involved.
The investigation remains ongoing, documented under case number 046238-2024.
