Dallas Police and Fire Rescue were called to the 12000 block of E. Northwest Highway on April 17, 2024, around 8:35 p.m. in response to a vehicle accident. According to preliminary investigations, a woman was walking in the far-right lane of traffic, near McCree Road, heading westbound when she was struck by a car traveling in the same direction.
The woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the vehicle involved stopped and cooperated with authorities.
The identity of the deceased woman will be confirmed by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office.
