Irving Arts Center to Close for Summer Upgrades

Irving Arts Center (IAC) at 3333 N. MacArthur Blvd. is set to undergo significant upgrades this summer. From June through August, the center will be closed to the public to facilitate much-needed improvements.

During this period, all programs at IAC will be paused, and the box office will not be open for in-person sales. The scheduled upgrades include roof replacement, renovation of dressing/green rooms, replacement of HVAC rooftop units, and upgrading or replacing theatrical lighting.

These enhancements aim to better serve the community while also reducing operational costs for the arts center.

Instructional Coach (Mult): Provide coaching, modeling & support to classroom teachers for a public K-12 charter school system. Reqs: Bach’s degree or equiv. or higher in Ed., Spanish, or closely related field (in lieu of bach’s degree, employer will accept any degree, program of study, or # of yrs of ed. in the same fields, domestic or foreign, that will permit the incumbent to receive TX educator cert.); five yrs’ teaching exp; TX educator cert. or eligible.
