In the early hours of May 23, 2024, Dallas police responded to a shooting call at approximately 12:10 a.m. in the 4000 block of W. Camp Wisdom Road, located in the Redbird area. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man lying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the scene, but the victim was pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased is pending notification of family members.
The investigation is ongoing and is being documented under case number 079766-2024.
