In a recent incident, the Irving Fire Department's Blocker Program once again proved its effectiveness in safeguarding lives.
On the evening of Wednesday, June 5th, Blocker 2, deployed to block traffic lanes and ensure the safety of first responders, was struck by a vehicle. Fortunately, the collision resulted in minor damage, and there were no reported injuries to civilians or first responders.
