The Irving Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating Karolyn Melton, 69, who was last seen early this morning leaving the Las Colinas Medical Center on foot. Ms. Melton was last observed at 3:00 AM on Saturday, heading towards SH 161. She is described as 5'6" tall, weighing between 120-150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black shirt with "Grandma" written in white letters, black leggings, and black shoes.
Although Ms. Melton does not meet the criteria for State DPS alerts, local alerts have been issued via social media channels and the Irving Alert System (iAlert). The family believes she may be in the early stages of dementia, and it has been reported that she recently suffered a head injury at work.
