On Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 9:53 AM, Cleburne Police and Fire responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of Miracle Ln. While en route, officers learned the situation involved an active stabbing. Upon arrival, they discovered that 41-year-old Jennifer Lynn Brabbin had stabbed her 76-year-old father-in-law, identified as Robert Brabbin of Cleburne. Robert Brabbin had severe stab wounds and was taken to Texas Health Cleburne Walls Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Jennifer Brabbin was immediately taken into custody and charged with murder. She is being held at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center with a bond set at $1 million.
The incident is under investigation.
