Traffic Alert: Westbound SH 183 Closed After Major Accident and Diesel Spill in Irving

The Irving Police Department has announced the closure of Westbound SH 183 from Carl Rd. to O'Connor due to a major accident that resulted in a diesel spill. The Loop 12 Southbound exit onto SH 183 Westbound is also closed. Authorities advise drivers to seek alternative routes, as cleanup is expected to take several hours, extending through the morning and into the early afternoon. Motorists are urged to avoid the area to prevent further traffic disruptions.
