Fort Worth Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Robbery Suspect in Two Smoke Shop Incidents

The Fort Worth Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to identify a suspect linked to two recent smoke shop robberies involving chemical assaults on clerks.

Incident 1
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a Black male entered the King Pipe Smoke Shop at 8625 N Beach St, near N Beach and N Tarrant Parkway. The suspect approached the store clerk, inquiring about products, before spraying a chemical substance into the clerk’s face. He then chased the clerk through the store, stole a large quantity of items, and fled on foot. Surveillance footage shows the suspect wearing a dark hoodie, dark pants, and dark shoes.

Incident 2
On Wednesday, October 30, around 6:30 p.m., the same individual entered another smoke shop at 11477 Woodland Springs Dr. and again sprayed a chemical substance at the clerk. This time, the clerk managed to resist, causing the suspect to flee on foot without taking any items.
