Arlington Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Outside Nightclub

The Arlington Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning outside a nightclub on Justiss Drive, The Opium Club. Officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 5:25 a.m. on November 17, 2024, in the 3200 block of Justiss Drive, near E. Division Street and east of SH-360.

Upon arrival, officers observed several vehicles leaving the area and discovered a 23-year-old man lying unresponsive in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Detectives recovered multiple shell casings from the parking lot and are canvassing the area for surveillance footage. Investigators believe the victim and others had been attending an event at the nightclub that continued into Sunday morning.

No suspect information has been released, and no arrests have been made. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Stafford at (817) 459-5739. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers of Tarrant County at (817) 469-8477.
