A 23-year-old man was arrested in Cleburne after police say he fatally stabbed his 69-year-old grandfather.
Cleburne police and firefighters were dispatched to a home in the 300 block of Huron Street at approximately 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, following a 911 call from a woman reporting that her grandson had killed her husband.
The victim, identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office as Arthur Lee Jarmon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, Antron Rayquon Bell of Cleburne, fled the residence before officers arrived. Using the Flock license-plate reader camera system, officers located the vehicle Bell was driving and took him into custody.
Bell has been charged with murder, and his bond has been set at $1 million. He is currently being held at the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center.
